Best known for her work as Fox Sports Radio’s National Anchor and On-Air Personality, Deb Carson is blessed to have successfully combined her passions.  As a lifelong sports fan, it is her favorite job to date!  Deb currently anchors the network’s National and L.A. Sports Reports weekdays during “The Loose Cannons” and “The Petros and Money Show.”

Deb spent the past year as Co-Host of FSR’s popular morning show, “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” as she and Stephen A. tackled sports and news headlines, current events and controversial topics of the day.  She also researched, wrote and produced the show’s “Deb’s News and Notes” feature.  Prior to her move to morning drive, Deb was a staple of FSR’s weekend game-time coverage.  In addition to manning the Anchor desk, she also wrote and produced the popular weekend segments “All Entertainment News with Deb Carson,” “Carson’s Corner…Sports Headlines You May Have Missed,” and “The Athlete Twitter Segment.”

Before joining Fox Sports Radio in 2006, Deb made a name for herself as a TV Host, Anchor and Reporter.  She also anchored News and Traffic for several radio stations throughout Southern California.

Beyond her radio and television broadcasting accomplishments, Deb has appeared in numerous television shows and movies including “Dexter,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Mentalist,” “The Unit,” “Will & Grace,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Young & the Restless,” “Evan Almighty,” and many others.  Her career in the Entertainment Industry began on the Production Staff of “Wheel of Fortune.”  In addition to her behind-the-scenes production duties and acting as Contestant Coordinator, Deb served as Vanna White’s Stand-In.

Born in Washington, DC, where her father worked for NASA and the Department of Defense, Deb’s family moved several times throughout her childhood, with stops in Northern VA, Panama City, FL, and Kingsville and Clear Lake City, TX.

She attended Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with double-majors in Marketing and Business-Broadcasting.  As a sophomore at Baylor, Deb became the first female student-sportscaster to broadcast a Southwest Conference game as part of the Baylor Baseball Broadcast Crew.

When not working on a set or covering the latest sports story, Deb loves spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, tending her garden, and enjoying quality time with her two Labrador Retrievers, Gracie and Roxie.

Deb also works with a variety of children’s charities and animal charities.  She is grateful for the abundance of gifts in her life and wishes to make a difference in the lives of those who are not as fortunate.
